Uses
​
HYDRO GUARD Reinforcement Sheet is used as reinforcement with both hot and cold applied waterproofing membranes. The mat provides tensile strength and control of thickness. When HYDRO GUARD Reinforcement Sheet is used with hot applied rubberized asphalt, it reduces pin holing over concrete decks.

Application

Unroll HYDRO GUARD Reinforcement Sheet into HYDRO GUARD Rubber Membrane or other waterproofing membrane immediately after application of membrane.

Overlap fabric no more than 6 mm (1/4 in) ensuring waterproofing membrane is applied between the overlapping plies so that no dry mat-to-mat overlap exists.

Ensure that mat lies flat without wrinkles by brooming if necessary.

Gaps between layers of fabric are acceptable if they are 6 mm (1/4 in) or less.
Limitations
​
HYDRO GUARD Reinforcement Sheet should not be stored exposed to the elements. Store rolls on their ends, instead of lying roll down.

Packaging
​
HYDRO GUARD Reinforcement Sheet is packaged in rolls 182.9 m (600 ft) in length by
914 mm (36 in) and 305 mm (12 in) in width.
Weight per roll is 5.7 kg for the wider 914 mm
(36 in) roll and 1.9 kg for the 305 mm (12 in) roll.
